@unlofl Do note that stepping on the 1d4 also has a physic aura effect that causes anybody who fails a will save to also flinch in pain and take the same damage out of sympathy when you do it in front of them, and can linger so that it does half damage to those failing a willsave you tell about it after the fact. This is a curse of course, but it affects each target only once, and if they save, they take no damage, and instead are affected by an effect similar to Tasha's Hideous Laughter, causing you to suffer an additional 1d4 psychic damage in embarassment per target that saved.
